CURRENT EDITIONS - this year's issues of Thrust and Cut. The newsletter takes its name form the way in which touches are scored in fencing, by the thrust with the point for foil, epee, and sabre, and with the cut in sabre. Those familiar with the literature of fencing may recognize the name as a tribute to Maestro Leon Bertrand, the author of the classic sabre textbook Cut and Thrust.
Note: Newsletter editions after 09-07 are prepared using a newsletter service designed specifically for e-mail distribution. Conversion to a web page changes the format so that there are differences in appearance from the e-mailed version.
